Well, it happened to my brother about 2 years ago. He got dozens calls from collectors within a month. I know it violates TCPA laws, so I told him to bring the case to the court, and yeah, he did it with help of Lemberg Law. The lawyer helped through the court process and in the end, he won. Also, he got few thousands bucks from the agency.
